True. I guess I left out hip hop. NWA - Niggaz4life Dr. Dre - The Chronic (original) Outkast - ATLiens Scarface - The World is Yours Jay Z - Reasonable Doubt Nas - Illmatic and of coarse WU thats kind of a week hip hop list shayne, i can't say i am not a bit dissapointed in you. and the original chronic? really? 2001 is like one of the best albums of all time let alone rap. I know mine are going to make people disagree for whatever reason, but for me these albums represent sustainability in music, because no matter what i cannot get sick of these albums, not really in a perfect order but anyways here goes. 1. Aesop rock-Float 2. Aesop rock-Fast cars, Danger, Fire and Knives 3. Aesop rock-Labor days 4. Above this fire- In perspective 5. Jedi mind tricks-servants in heaven, kings in hell. 6. Emmure-Goodbye to the gallows 7. Whitechaple-Somatic Defilement 8.Blood stands still- salvation through struggle 9. Adtr-For those who have heart 10. Elysia-Masochist 11.Eminem- Marshall Mathers lp 12. Fight Everyone-Invitus Fidelitas(even though it just makes me feel shitty now) 13.KanYe West-The College Dropout 14. Living Legends-Almost Famous 15. Memphis May Fire-Self Titled 16. Remembering never-God Save Us 17. This is hell-Sundowning(honestly probably in the top 3 for me ever!) 18. xReignOfTerrorx- Theres a last time for everything. 19. Blockhead-Uncle Tony's Coloring book 20. Aotp- Ritual of battle like i said not in real order but those are my favorites.

Good hiphop doesnt have to be new underground... These guys revolutionized the genre and made as popular as it is today. Without them, you wouldn't have Army of the Pharaohs, Aesop Rock, etc.

Atliens and Illmatic are sick as fuck. But like nwa? come on......
