So turn on your stereo, amplifier, grab a guitar, or whatever floats your boat . . .
But crank some Pantera today in memory of Dimebag. R.I.P, mang.
And yes. I had to be THAT guy. It's just what I do.

I think he played in that Pantera, they're always bitching about. It's like Metallica, but lamer, if that's possible.

Dimebag was a huge influence on many people and was considered a hero in the metal community. He was shot for living his dream playing music and not by a drug overdose, AIDS or some drunk driving blunder like most musicians . People do die everyday but to be gunned down on stage is a whole different story. I pay my respect for his talents and achievements with a tip of the bottle.

I'm not saying he didn't do a lot for metal music, I just think people over hype celeb deaths. I was never a HUGE fan of Pantera, I liked a track off Great Southern Trendkill and some of their older stuff. Yeah, it does suck he was gunned down doing something he loved.

... I hope you don't love their old stuff. Unless you're referring to their new old stuff from the early 90s.
And to the two of you up there ^... well said. And yes, people die every day, but not the person that made me love music so much that it became my life.
That's all I got.

See. I would rather die doing something I loved. It is literally the best way to go.
