Jean Grey played first. They owned. Played a few old ones, a bunch of new ones.
They packed up, Only Nightmares set up, they played. They were ok. They need to learn how to mic the kick better, cuz that thing was loud and had an annoying ass tone.
A couple kids got kicked out for dancing, because of the no dancing policy but they got let in later with a warning.
Then Pantheon played. They upped their game a little, but I'm still not too huge of a fan. Everyone else seemed to love em though.
Then Atonement played. I saw them at Taboo, but they've come a long way in a short time. They're by far my favorite band in the area now. The synchronized Impending Doom headbangs were fucking EPIC.
Dalin came and he didn't start any probs, so that was cool. Terry, the stocky dancer who dresses all thug crowd killed me pretty hard, so that kinda pissed me off a bit, but other than that it was really fun.

it kinda sucks that they dont allow dancing. i dont know if there were any problems being caused, but to not allow any dancing is pretty lame.

Well, really.. There wasn't much moshing either. There was a little during Atonement, but that was about it. You can have fun without dancing or moshing. I mean, I saw a tone of people really get into the music and seemed to have a great time.

They told tommy that they're fixing the lights, and after they will allow dancing. I hope people can control themselves at this show though. This place is already reminding me of Agate.

first time seeing Jean Grey and was throughly impressed.
Only Nightmares had the old school metal sound, which was nice to hear something other than breakdown, scream, breakdown for once.
Pantheon was sick. and for being 4 foot that girl had a pretty impressive voice.
Atonement sounded wayyyy sick with the new guitarist and I agree that they have came far in a short amount of time. I'll definately be down to see them again.
To be honest when I arrived I was stoked about the no dancing policy at first, but then as the show went on and the heavy breakdowns came, I felt like something was missing. It's really unfortunate that THE SAME KIDS continue to "crowd kill" or whatever they do to pick fights while "hardcore dancing" because real hardcore dancing is cool to watch, and I would assume its enjoyable for those dancing.
I hope once they get the lights removed, that they will continue to have security at shows and those kids will be kicked out for picking fights/crowd killing/whatever.
I agree with Perry on the kick drum sitch. Needs more bass or something.
Overall, I'm am hella excited on the new venue. Seems like there is plenty of room for growth and lots of positive people behind it.
WORD UP.

Dancing is pretty damn sweet. There's just like two or three kids who fuck it all upppp. it sucks, cuz it really is a good thing.

I wasn't saying it shouldn't be allowed all together. I'm just saying someone should not come to a show just because of a rule such as that. I enjoy watching people dance, it gets me pumped. It did feel like something was missing. But, that place is gonna be so awesome.

[One more thing.] I didn't think Atonement's stage presence could get any better, but apparently I was wrong. Atonement is so awesome to watch, I could watch them over and over again.. Well, I do, do that. There isn't many bands that I could watch over and over. They are talented.

Okay i have to put my input on the show.
JEAN GREY SECTION
Jean Grey is SICKKKK. i wish Dane wasn't a douche to his band. cause i liked them.
i like Dan. cause he is a real nice guy. i like bannon, Charlie, Shawn and john i like them whole band musically and the people in it. that what a real band is like
JEAN GREY END
ONLY NIGHTMARES
Down to only nightmares, not a fan. stayed outside for the set. But just because i don't like a band, don't NOT mean i don't think the band isn't talented.
I THOUGHT PACO WAS GOING TO BE AN ARROGANT PRICK...but he proved me GREATLY wrong...nice guy.
only nightmares end
PANTHEON!!! ggrrrrr
Not a fan at all about them. really don't like the sound. but they all are nice people. thats one good looking girl. i should date her and make her edge! hahah just kidding around.
I stayed outside for that set too.
pantheon end
Atonement start
they did not satisfy me...but they are very talented. not the kind of stage presence i look for. i think Cordell has his times when he is a bloody prick but i remember all those times he was nice to me
i watched there set cause Steven wanted me to. =]] he he
i got more to say sorry
yeah no dancing sucked. i listened to them??? weird
No fights either...cause there was nothing to start or be mad about.
low lights will get fixed...expect dancing in the future.
because American me is coming to Eugene
LAST THING
i was happy to see Buddy's. but overall i did not enjoy my time there.

Atonement didn't have the stage presence you were looking for? That's suprising cuz I thought they did really good.
