nope, incorrect. the vocals are bland. theres no girth to the dudes lows. i need girth, aggression like on doom by jfac. you can picture the dude in the sound booth just giving it his all. then in genesis its like hes just kind of standing there getting it over with. same reason i didnt like jimmy ryan from haste the day. it sounds like theres no energy behind it. maybe im too core, but i like to be able to hear the emotion in a voice, not just making noises.
and impending doom has no place in my music library due to inward vocals.
and stupid lyrics.

The only inwards they do are on the EP. You can tell live that they're outward.

You can do outward gutterals brandon. Big Chocolate is a nice example. Even if he did do inward gutterals, there are a lot of bands who do outwards live and inwards on the recordings, i.e. Winds of Plague.

hey percival, dont patronize me, i know that you can do outward gutterals. not saying i was a good vocalist in asb, but i know what gutterals are all about son. what i'm saying is that i find it highly unlikely that a band would do inward vocals on the album and then switch it up to do outwards live. youre going to have to back that up with some research before i believe you.

I know you know. Do you know that I know that you know? Have you heard Impending Doom's new album? Most definitely not inward. In fact, most definitely not even guttural. Mid to low range outwards.

I watched him do all the old songs, and he still does gutturals, but there isn't any possible way he could do them inward. They're too buff sounding. I really dig the new album though. I still don't know what you don't like about the Oceano album though man, I think their vocals are just plain sick.

That hizznurts But you like JFAC's? I don't get that, that guy was annoying to me, even during DOOM. I actually enjoy the new album more, despite the bland vocals.

Maybe you haven't heard enough. I started on their older stuff which was really raw and beefy, and the sudden change was really weird and almost sterile sounding compared to what I expected. I had to give it a couple spins.
