But look at all the people who are finding new music through this. If someone sees people talking good about it and see the link, their gonna dl it. Make a DL section where we can talk about music but make it so you have to have something like 10 posts to see it. That way you have to be an active member to see it. +1

lately I've been listening to: I guess PM me if you want links to where to download their stuff. and lemme know if you have any recommendations... This is perfect. Links to streaming sites where people can check out the bands. If they want to DL, they can get the links PMed. I'm not gonna make a DL thread because I don't want to support the illegal sharing of copywrited content. Plain and simple. If you wanna do it, do it in a manner that I don't have to see or deal with. P.S. If any band on here wants to post links to download their own content that they have the rights to, that's perfectly fine. Just don't post DL links to something you don't own the copywrite to.

Lately:
Protest the Hero's Fortress: Metal that makes you believe in metal... And dragons.
Nada Surf's Lucky: Indie pop done the old-fashioned way, from a band that's been around the block.
Anything by Mogwai: Because sometimes I need a soundtrack when I read.
Brand New's The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me: If you have listened to this album, then you know what I'm talking about.
Sigur Rós' Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust: I have no idea how to say the name of this album. I have no idea what they are saying on this album. I love this album.
Air's The Virgin Suicides: Possibly the greatest sound track of all time.
Alexisonfire's Watch Out!: Dallas Green is a spooky-great vocalist/guitarist, and the band he played with ain't half bad either.
All Time Quarterback's self-titled: It's the Ben Gibbard album you've never heard of!
American Football's self-titled: Wherein you learn where Minus the Bear learned everything they know.
Andrew Jackson Jihad's People Who Can Eat People are the Happiest People in the World: If only for the title.
As Cities Burn's Come Now Sleep: The album does not do these guys justice, and this album is freaking amazing.
Cartel's Chroma: Yet another wonderful pop album sullied by having been featured on MTV during those stupid commercials they used to have. You know the ones. Don't pretend you don't.
City and Colour's Sometimes: I can never decide which album I like better, so I'll chose this one for now.
Claude DeBussy's anything he ever wrote: Elliot Smith once claimed his music was mostly inspired by DeBussy. I find that hard to believe.
Cursive's Domestica: Better than anything they've put out since, and also quite good!
I'll stop there and pick it up at "D."

Sufjan Stevens' Avalanche: It's just like Illinois but more and different songs and three remixes of Chicago! It really is good.
Anathallo's Floating World: Amazing instrumentation, amazing lyrics, and amazing concept. They're dropping a new album soon. I can't wait.
