I wish Jordan was there too. He seems pretty good at it as well. I am not good at breaking up fights, i just sit back and laugh... Which is exactly what i would have been doing... this shit is retarded. Chances are unless a show has a really good line up i won't be at them anymore.

Yeah...I know what you mean Mr.Max.
It's hard to book shows around here, and have people come to them, when there's only a handful of bands that play.
But it's hard to get a good lineup that's all the same genre, that's not going to cause some hustle and bustle.

But it's hard to get a good lineup that's all the same genre, that's not going to cause some hustle and bustle. And this is why we dont have good shows Because people wont book certain bands for fear it might get rowdy Shits gonna get crazy at any big show, that has heavy music

Don't fuck this up, kids. People pushing you back from crowd killing them are not starting a fight (95% of the time), they're doing exactly what you're doing so grow the fuck up and take it. No double standards, no crew drama, no picking fights, and don't assume your friends are doing the right thing by fighting. Big D clocked the shit out of my nose dancing at RWTH and know what I did? Patted him on the back. Some dude on the side pushed me when I was crowd bumping. I just used it as momentum to hit the other side. I didn't start shit with people because I assumed I knew their intentions. Derek wasn't picking a fight with me, that dude who pushed me wasn't picking a fight with me. Capiche? Beating a dead horse cause the people who need to understand this don't read this.

This really shouldn't even have to be brought up. Grow up, stop immediately resorting to violence because you think you have some stature to uphold. More respect is given to those who simply steer away from all the immature behavior. It's not fair to the venues, staff, or most importantly, the other people at the show, that fists have to be thrown over mindless matters and the entire scene has to worry about not having shows for those under 21 (because obviously those seem to be the people with the biggest problem). I literally paid to get into this show to see Danny for the first time in a week and he told me he didn't want me there because he was afraid fists were going to be thrown and had my money refunded. I just think it's a little ridiculous that people actually have to be afraid of being hurt at local shows. I too , as so many have mentioned, like to go to shows to listen to and support the music, not to be seen, to fight, or to engage in any drama that could be stirred up for silly reasons. I think part of music is being able to enjoy the show in the way you want to but that changes when how you enjoy the shows is by physically hurting those around you. Be aware that not everyone wants to be pushed, shoved, and fear for their physical well-being. True, people should stand aside fromt he pit or "hardcore dancing" area, but also true is the fact that those engaging in such behavior should be aware of those around them. Anyways, those who are creating the problem should grow up and stop, or else the venues will stop hosting all ages shows and then you'll have to take your tough guy fighting to the streets.
