Just got a friend request today from an extraordinarily amazing gentleman who goes by the pseudonym "Dick Tater" and claims to be telling local bands on Myspace "the truth about their band." Incidentally, the truth is that he thinks they suck.

I have no problem with thinking my band, or any local band for that matter, sucks. In fact, there are several bands I don't listen to, and I'm comfortable saying that.

I just think if you're going to go to the trouble of creating a Myspace account, adding bands, and hiding behind a pseudonym to talk shit, that you are kind of a pussy. And by "kind of", I mean a huge pussy.

I'm not hurt or offended by this "Dick Tater's" opinion in any measurable way, and I am actually thoroughly amused by him and his opinions, but here's the "truth" about "Dick Tater:"

Grow a pair, say who you are, or at least show us some of your superior music. If you're such an amazing musician that you get to be the almighty judge of local music, then don't be such a pussy and show everyone your own amazing band.
