Is an amazing website. Go check it out: www.couchsurfing.com It's a social networking site for people that travel the world. You can see people's profiles who are hosting, this means they let you sleepoon their couch. Thousands of people get to travel the world doing this for very little amounts of money. If you are a host, you can meet people from all over and make great connections abroad. Last night I was invited by a random guy in Madrid, who was from Michigan, to eat thanksgiving dinner at his friends house last night. Turns out he invited everyone in Madrid on the site. About 20 people were given the address cause too many people responded. I met so many awesome peolple from all over the world last night and ate an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, which I thought I'd have to skip this year. All we had to bring was drinks and the food was free. Such nice people. We all ate, drank and talked for a while then we went out to a bar and hung out some more. I just really want everyone to be aware of this site, it's amazing. EDIT: Here's a pic of some of the people that were there. Here's a must-watch video while we are on our way to the bar, pretty drunk (notice us smoking on the metro.)

Start hosting people at your place and you'll make connections world-wide, ableing you to travel for cheap (no hotel costs). You'll meet awesome people too. I forgot to add something, one of the girls there was born in EUGENE. Small fucking world.

This seems really awesome. If I owned my own home or apartment I would totally be a host. Or if I traveled I would definitely use this.

I wanna be a host as soon as I get my own place. I love meeting new people and especially people from different cultures with different outlooks on life. It can be really good for your personality and soul.
