Ok. Just to let everyone know. I own a BBE Green Screamer. I run it in front of my Marshall Valvestate 8100 as a front end boost, and I love the thing. It fattens up and super saturates my tone. It's awesome. It looks like this. Ok. So. It's awesome. I love it. I tell anybody who's looking at any type of overdrive pedal to check out a Green Screamer because it's an awesome pedal. Plus it comes with a power supply and it's just dope. Anywho. So I'm checking out BBE shit tonight, and you know what I find? THAT THEY'VE REMADE THE GREEN SCREAMER. . . . And now it looks like this. Yeah. That's right. I like the look of the old one, but this . . . this is just fucking ridiculously cool. I mean, look at that damn thing. IT'S A BOMB DROPPING, JET PROPELLED, MISSILE SHOOTING MUTHAFUCKAH, MUTHAFUCKAH!! Anyways. I just wanted to rave at how awesome this pedal is. And HOW PISSED I am that they've remade it into this super whup azz looking thing and I'm stuck with the old school one . . . Yes. I realize how pointless this all was. But still. Goddamn it. I want one.

Sorries. I likes my overdrive.
Beefs up my siddy-five-oh-five.
Personally, though, I'm thinking about taking a different course, ditching the overdrive and the sonic stomp, and just going to a ten bad EQ.
You can dial in exactly what freqs you want, add on a shit ton of gain and boost, and really just have a much tighter control. I'll let y'all know how that works out.

Screamer is nice. I now am running my at 212 and a half stack w/ my JCm 900 half stack using the head's overdrive and lead boost w/ a boss ge-7 eq and a metal zone in my floor rack just in case I want a thicker tone. I just like the sound of all those tubes, hard to duplicate with a stomp box. And the B-52 Gain-2 channel brings up the DB's enough to hear my leads. Running stereo split to amps, and the Eq makes a great boost and gives a great cutting tone. I say try everything you can get your hands on. It is a life long search for tone

I've never really fucked with overdrive pedals. No cash flow.
