MEEEE TOOOOO! I actually got 5. Then gave them to people for gifts for Christmas. And kept two for myself. Because I am really greedy and really hate Obama. In a very un-negative kind of revolution type deal where I want the world to be ran by people I agree with because I lack caring for anyone that thinks differently than I. But mainly I was just rambling because Ron Paul kicks major ass. I've never wanted one single person to be president than I do that man.
And he has rad tee shirts. Okay. I'm done.
RonPaul. Oh, and I'm proud of you Brandon.

lolol. well i was actually really hopeful for obama for a while... i thought to myself "what if he really does bring some change i can believe in?" but so far i have seen nothing but saying one thing and doing the other from him.
$1.5 trillion bail out package one day (2 separate packages totaling to that much, not including the original bush $700 billion) the very next day he preaches to the nation about how we have to spend responsibly and were going to reduce the deficit by half in the next 4 years. the next day he introduces his new budget... $4 trillion. bush's largest budget was $3.1 trillion. obama has brought nothing new to the oval office, just the same old forked tongue speeches and back room deals.
but i digress.

Give him a chance man, he's only been in office for a month. Give it six and see what happens. I'm hoping for some change.

I'm surprised that there isn't a surplus of Obama supporters on here. it's weird, I mean, it's springfield/eugene.

perry i totally agree with you.
RP is like the opposite of barak obama. can't speak worth beans but he has a lot of great ideas. (Buhzing!)
anyways, yeah i am actually quite surprised that not too many BO supporters are around here... honestly its probly because hardline liberals that think things through enough to debate are often few and far between.... not saying there arent any, theyre just usually quieter than the right wing loudmouths. for the record i like to consider myself in the middle ground. my conservative friends think im liberal and my liberal friends think im conservative...

Yeah, I'm glad Obama won though. Better than other candidates likely to win. I'm still giving him some time before I think "Why did I believe this lying bastard???"
I'm liberal as fizzuck, but that's just how I was raised. I have some social middle-ground areas, like the death penalty and stuff like that, but I'm primarily a bleeeeeeeeeding heart liberal. It gets annoying for a lotta people.

lol thats funny. yeah i am honestly really trying to like obama, most of the harsh stuff ive said in here was mostly kidding... im just having a hard time with the whole say one thing do another...
and yeah, mccain would have been just as bad. except his spending package wouldnt have been pork-laden.

I'm hoping he'll pull though. He's really not getting much cooperation from congress though.

what? the democratic congress has 3 votes shy of a filibuster proof majority! if hes not getting cooperation then its his own dang fault. and so much for reashing across the isle. not a single republican vote in the house on that stimulous bill and barely scraped up the 3 they needed in congress? maybe if the stimulous bill was more stimulous than useless spending on government programs that will add absolutely nothing to our economy, then he would have gotten some more republican votes.

Ron Paul is SO gonna get elected! You hater!! I consider myself ronpaulian. No. Really though. I'm not necessarily republican, but I'm not a fan of liberals. But then, I come from a logging family, where we hunted for food, and lived somewhere where we saw "endangered" animals every single day of my life. Oh. And I own around 17 guns. Just for kicks. And I like to drive environment killing, gas guzzling vehicles. I'm basically everything that a liberal is against. And a liberal is everything I disagree with.

Well I respect that opinion. I'm not overly opinionated and liberal though, which is good. I respect others' opinions as long as mine is respected as well.

i would say to jil that she should drive more gas saving vehicles. while i do care about the environment, i don't believe that humans are causing "global warming". that is a different discussion altogether, but i say that to say this: republicans should also be for using less gas, because almost all of our gas comes from countries that hate us. why do we give saudi arabia and argentina and columbia all of our money? bad plan.
and have you heard ron paul speak? he is an old man, and he speaks as such. he gets flustered easily and kind of rambles. he has great ideas, but no charisma... and as we've seen that is the opposite of what america is going for these days.
