Hey dudes my name is Ian epp some of you might already know me, i used to attend the local shows.i can respect most paths and music and value fellow musicians in their criticism and support. I have been a guitar/vocalist for a good three years now and plan on being an avid music lover until the day i die. My experience in music has been mostly by ear, high school/college courses, and various bands.the genres i generally listen to are: Death metal indie small amounts of hip-hop rock/alternative punk

I'm Cory. 21. Born here, disappeared to Portland for college yet to return here a couple years back.
I work a lot.
I mess around with Fruity Loops and make ambient noise and gangster beats on the computer.
I also play acoustic drums, but I've never been in a serious band. I'd like get my jam on with some fellow musicians, but loose ties are never put together.
I'd like to start an openminded "non-genre" type band that is a mix between Daughters (new and old), twodeadsluts onegoodfuck, *SHELS, Sigur Ros and Black Sheep Wall. So pretty much a noise, grindcore, sludge, doom, slow, heavy, fast, then slow, relaxing, then terrifying type sound.
As far as "what I bring to the scene"? I don't know. I'll promote anything I'm into pretty passionately. I think there is a lot of wasted talent out there. I'd like to see a venue come together in this town for ALL kinds of music (not just JUGGA JUGGA WAA WAA shit) for kids to expierience and be involved in something positive. I'd be down to help with anything I am able to as far as the venue goes. Flyering around town. Spreading the word. Graphic Design. Trying to get peeps involved. Help running the venue. Spreadin' the word. Whatevsss.
YUP.

Hey, I'm Patrick. Just moved here from Medford (ugh) 6 weeks ago; glad to see some semblance of a local music scene here. I've been dicking around on guitar for years and have had a few (failed) attempts at semi-experimental stuff with some drummers back in Medford. Mostly aggressively atonal audience baiting, but fun nonetheless.
Is anyone around here into math rock (Don Caballero, Hella, Faraquet, Battles, From Monument to Masses, Drive Like Jehu, June of 44, Maps + Atlases, Slint, Lightning Bolt, Sweep the Leg Johnny etc.)? I'm very into that brand of rhythmically awkward, two hand tapped, loud/quiet/loud stuff and would love to jam with anyone into similar trash.
