www.myspace.com/jobforacowboyHmmm not sure how many people still keep up with this band. I think they've gotten better, shrug. the DOOM EP will always be a favorite of mine though. This new song is pretty sweet though.

Are they still trying really hard to be cut and dry death metal?

DOOM......
horrid, i cant believe i used to listen to that, let alone scream to it when no one was home...
but i guess it still has a place in my heart
the new stuff is soooooo sick....they seem to have an extremely good grasp on the apocolyptic steez deathmetal direction that they are going for....
and there is a new one up, if it wasnt up when you guys peeped it
anyways im stoked
;D

Man...I would say that the Doom EP was their worst effort yet.
Some idiots would claim "DUDE! They were doing that before it was even big!" Which is bullshit...'cause it's not like deathcore started with JFAC's first EP.
I think on Genesis they actually tried to stray from the deathcore elements of their music, and in my opinion, it worked beautifully.
I think their new album won't be as big of a jump, but I predict it will still be better than the Doom EP.

everyone is talking about the new album coming out soon..?
I already have it. it leaked awhile ago. haven't really cared to listen to it or the new suicide silence lately since I just got the tupac, brotha lynch hung and michael jackson discographys.
if you're smart, I'm sure you can find it. or PM me and I'll point you in the right direction...

Hahaha...dude...I don't care who you are, the show last night, at Epic Space, was the best "local" show I've ever been to.
Soulscythe, Rye Wolves, Aerial Ruin, and The Subarachnoid Space. Man...all excellent bands. Check them all out.
Yes, it's not catchy, but it's still awesome PERRY!! Ha.

AHHHH!!
Dude...I just got back from Mayhem Fest in Auburn, WA...and I have to say the best bands were Whitechapel, God Forbid, Job For A Cowboy, Behemoth, and Killswitch Engage.
But man...since this is about "Ruination" they played two tracks off of it. "Unfurling a Darkened Gospel" and "Regurtitated Disinformation." They also opened with "Knee Deep" which was pretty awesome. Since Arkhum use to cover that. Bahahah...

I went to Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder and God Forbid at the Roseland. Pissed that I didn't go to mayhem instead. I would kill to see Whitechapel.

I've seen Whitechapel a couple times, and they rule live, dude.
Same with Corpse, Behemoth, and God Forbid. I've seen Black Dahlia about 3 times, and only the first was really awesome. I didn't really dig 'em at Mayhem.

I bet they do. I've been listening to them for a very long time, and I'd still have to say they're my fav. Behemoth=satan(god just wouldn't sound right after their name), especially live. I enjoyed God Forbid a lot. As much as I respect them, I'm not a Corpse fan, not even live. The Black Dahlia Murder was suuuuuper sick in portland. That heartburn tattoo cracks me up lol.
