It seems strange to me that this show wasn't discussed here before or after its occurrance. I thought it went quite well (though not quite as big as the Return of Local Music) and I am grateful to everyone who came/performed/promoted the event.

It was pretty rad. Next time don't lose your voice before the show.

i have to admit, i was there before the doors opened, but i was told it started at 8:00, i stood outside from 7:30 - 8:30 before i left. it gave me too much time to realize that there werent too many people there that i knew. truth is, i get bored at even some of the best shows ive been to, and i didnt want to stand there being bored till midnight. shoulda started earlier.

Understandable.... However, neither me nor Sam have any control over the start time. if I remember correctly, the doors for the last show we had were between 7:00 and 7:30 and the show started sometime around 8:00 or 8:30, thus the flier for this show had the doors opening at 7:00. My apologies go out to anyone who showed up around 7:00 expecting the show to start sooner. It was ultimately the WOW Hall's decision to have a late show. I guess that's just what they like to do with Friday shows. As for me having a lost voice....I guess that's what happens when you only have a few times a week to practice and you have to give maximum effort every practice just to get everything down. Not to mention going to school full-time, working full-time, and staying up till 5 in the morning working on promotion and shirts for the show. It all kinda added up to make me exhausted and contribute to my horrible vocal performance. Everything's slowing down in my life right now, so I can assure you that our next performance will be a huge step up. No where to go but up from that, right? Thanks everyone for coming, it was still fun, late start time and horrible vocal performance considered.
