I just wanted to hear eveyone go off on how cool their gear is or what they are sporting these days. I run through a old peavey roadmaster tube series full stack.

Ha, I'm down for some gear discussion.
Currently, amp wise, I'm running an old school Marshall VS 8100 head. The old school valve state shit that Chuck Schuldiner used in Death and such. And that's run into a B52 AT412 cab. Normally I run that with a BBE Sonic Stomp and Green Screamer in front of it to really fatten up and saturate it, but I recently picked up the new Digitech Hardwire TL2 Distortion, and FUCK. With a sonic stomp behind it that's what I've been running as my main sound.
Guitar wise I've been using a mid 90's Charvel with a single coil spaced Dimarzio 'bucker for me thrash a la Testament and Exodus, and an Ibanez IC400 Iceman with a Dimebucker that's rigged for shit in Drop A or G#.
I gotta get my Schecter restrung and back in action. Busted my A string, and I've been faarrr too lazy to fuck with the floyd on it lately. Fucking Floyd Roses. Such a pain in the ass.

I wanna go on record and say that I am extremely jealous of Sam Wartenbee's gear.
EXTREMELY.
However. After seeing Early Man and hearing their tone last night . . . I must say I really, really wanna plug into either an Orange Rockerverb or Thunderverb. They had Rockerverbs but the scoop control on the Thunderverb intrigues me. That and it's a 200 watt tube head. That much power alone is . . . terrifying.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I play bass too.
Gee.
My bass rig:
Jackson C20 Concert Bass Ibanez SRX2EX2 Crate 100W 15" Combo amp Peavey 4x10 cab
Yeah. I need a head or a better combo to run in conjunction with that 4x10.
And my guitar rig without the BS statements:
BC Rich Bronze Warlock (Busted and Outta Comish) Ibanez Iceman IC400 (Dimebucker in the bridge) Schecter Sunset Deluxe (Stock) Charvel Strat (Single Coil Spaced Dimarzio 'Bucker in the Bridge) Crate 15w Combo Crate 120W 2x12 combo with Eminence Black Powder speakers Marshall Valvestate VS100 8100 model B-52 AT-412 4x12 cab
Effects: BBE Sonic Stomp BBE Green Screamer Digitech Hardwire HT2 Footpedal Tuner Digitech Hardwire TL2 Metal Distortion Boss NS-2 noise suppressor.
Yeah. I diggz my rig. I'm still looking to add a full tube head to my rig. And a Marshall 1960 cab or a Vader 4x12 or 2x15. The B-52 is a fuckin awesome cab, but I need something with a little more mid-range thud.

If we're talking bass rigs, then I forgot a couple things:
Ampeg SVT2Pro Ampeg SVT810
And if you want a Deliverance, you'd better make a move now. They just sold the company.

see, because you posted this topic, you are going to get a bunch of arrogant douche bags on here, bragging about how sick THEY think their gear is, when in reality, they may have some descent gear, but nobody knows how to play it.

xenochrist, you are mostly likely right ahaha. Nobody really needs good gear to play well.... However, I do know that I know how to use what I own quite well... I mean, how many guitarists do you know that can sightread?

. . . well I'm not quite sure what the correlation between being able to sightread and knowing how to properly use one's gear quite well has to do with one another . . . I mean, I'm just saying, I don't see how knowing how to program a Digitech RP12 or knowing how to adjust frequencies to complement each other or just general sound/gear knowledge has anything to do with sightreading.
Besides, who gives a rats fuck bout this xenochrist dude. I betcha he's so fuckin low he steals candy from candy machines. Cuz. Well. That's just deuschy.
And xenochrist? What the dicksuck? "Strange Christ" or foreign christ? Sounds gaytarded if you ask me.
Anyway.
Not to hate on anybody.
Luvs to ya mutha. Fewl.
PS.
He's obviously into black metal. Why? Christ reference, elitist attitude, and . . . I don't know. It just sounds. Black.
