I was dancing, minding my own bussiness, for maybe 10 seconds during karma, and did not hit a single person
and some guy pushed me and started screaming in my face that "that isn't moshing" trying to fight me, so yeah, I guess you're right, they weren't instigating ANYTHING at all
WRONG

its more like 1-2 kids, imo. unless your talking about people from different crowds aswell. but for the most part people were'nt being nice, but they were being nice, about it. if that makes sense. like there was lots of violent moshing and dancing, but a very very very small percent of that was taken bad. Okay so 1-2 kids could potentially ruin shows for us? Is that what you're saying? Because that sounds worse than 6-8 kids, haha. Its makes semi-sense, I'm just glad none of the violent moshing/dancing or "crowd killing" seriously injured anyone or resulted in a fight.

One for sure, MAYBE 2? not 6-8. just saying, i am friends with those kids, they all come to shows together all the time, but they are not ALL the problem, only one or 2, and this problem has already been addressed. BTW any one reading this, please do not go all" AHHHGG I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS STILL HAPPENING" you weren't there, and honestly it was alot better then other shows, and way more unified if you ask me. i had so many dudes coming up to me after wards shaking my hand, that i was just previously dancing near most likely disrespecting there personal bubble. I don't know, obvious stupid shit happened a bit, but no where near as bad.

When they get hit or maybe even kicked in the back when they're enjoying a show, they're going to get upset and push some people back. But instigating shit? No. Try to start fights? No. They weren't preying on kids, and punching random people. They weren't jumping into groups of on-lookers enjoying the show OUTSIDE the pit. I wasn't saying you were the culprit. You and Jordan were of the few kids actually dancing positively and I'm glad to see it.

BEFORE ANYONE GOES ASSUMING ANYTHING
This was a fantastic show There was plenty of people dancing, and plenty moshing, and we all did it together It is a very small venue, and there were a feew misunderstandings with some metalheads But there was no fights, there was a small "grab fest" but no punches were thrown and it was done in less than 5 seconds, it was simply a personal space issue NOT A FIGHT
I thoroughly enjoyed this show, and had MANY people come up to me and thank me for dancing, and also had many people who were hit by me (yeah, it happens, that place is tiny) come up and pat me on the back
GREAT FUCKING SHOW

The show was great, the bands sounded great, and everyone had a blast. I would call it a success. I just foresee bad seeds that could cause problems in the future, or how things could have gotten ugly fast, especially in a small venue like the duck. *hugs and kisses*

man i wish i could've gone! i worked till 7 today so when it got pushed back to 6 i was like eeeffffff. from the sound of your guys' posts it sounded like it went well. NO FIGHTS?? sounds like there were some smaller understandings but if you look over the past couple years at local shows where there was a fight every single time, maybe this is the first step into a new age where somebody can be ninj0wn'd in the face and they can hug each other and keep fightin the invisible samurai with their swinging fists o' fury.

Not to be gay or anything, but maybe we should require that all bands play "All you need is Love" in between bands.

haha yeah I think it was Sean.
Also, I understand the whole wanting to hardcore dance and wildly swing your first and be angry and violent, whatever, but when I'm trying to stand there and enjoy the bands and actually listen to the music and you "accidently" punch me in the face. It's not okay. I saw at least 2 guys deliberately kick some people in the front cause he was "hardcore dancing" and people got in his way I guess? that's BS. Also if you see your friends doing this but you don't say anything and think it's cool and say "well I still dance but I didn't hit anybody and was minding my own business blah blah blah" then you are still the reason why we have fights at shows.
As far as the show goes, it was great. Awesome turn out for a Wednesday night show.
