well tyler, i do have to say that your band definitely could step up their game when it comes to trying to book shows. just talk to chris danny or john... its pretty simple. P.S. Tyler's band was originally booked for the 3/27 show but they dropped off... ahhh snap!

Do they have to be local? I was talking to Danny about a band I actually know from Ashland who tour quite frequently and are a bit more "Of Mountains" - esque than anything else i've heard around here. Just really fun and upbeat kind of music with a pretty big following (though not quite sure how big in Eugene).

other oregon towns would be great. i would love to have the headliner of every show be an out-of-towner... that way we get to know them.

That's what I was thinking. It just occurred to me at this most recent Indigo show that the crowd that usually shows up to the shows is really excited to be there and totally into the local music scene, which is great. However, the out of town bands, no matter how upbeat or how well-liked they are, never seem to get the same response. I know that the local show goers here aren't familiar with the bands but it would be nice to see the same enthusiasm the crowd has when Of Mountains is playing their set for out of town bands that evoke the same kind of dancey-vibe.

I think the reason people werent as into it doing the bands that arent from here, is because it was such a small show I usually get down to most any band, but only if there are people around I just feel awkward when there is like 30 people in a room that size
