Oh and my girlfriend is just relaying the Duck's message, she is sick of getting hit when she's no where near the pit though. No, I know where Im at and i know im going to get the ocasional hits. Its when I see the targeted crowed killing. sitting on the side in the middle is next to it perry No, actually I wasnt in the middle of it. I was on the very far corner of the shelf, towards the stage where I can see everything that goes on, crowd or band. The only way that I could have been hit was if people intentionally went into the corner(away from the pit).

I think this entire occurrence could have been prevented by all parties on both sides.
This banter is fantastic and all...but it won't change the idiocy that we all witnessed this evening. I won't blame any one person, or a group of people...
Just keep the shows fun, and clean, and we'll get more and more put on.

i guess im just a poser. im fake, i shouldnt go to see my friends and bands i like unless im ready to brawl afterward. eff. dude me too! I'm fake and most definitely a poser. Especially for going to shows to enjoy the...MUSIC? is that weird? Apparently when you graduate from high school (well for most of you, get your GED if that) and mature you start going to shows for things other than fighting, drama, and social status. I don't know. it's all bullshit. Kids ruining shit for other kids. I'm glad I'm over 21 so I won't be fucked over by these shenanigans. But I definitely feel bad for you kids who have to suffer the unfortunate acts of one or two kids getting "hot headed" and "crowd killing" innocent concert goers. If someone has "beef" with someone, it should be handled OUTSIDE the venue WITH WORDS, not during a breakdown while "dancing" with your fists. Or maybe I'm mature in that sense too. I can handle a conversation and confrontation face to face without getting all high and mighty about shit. Like I said to each of their faces, I have nothing against any of the "bro" kids, but I do have something against people ruining shit for other people who are trying to enjoy themselves, minding their own business. This is music. As far as I know, everyone loves music. I grew up with all ages shows, and good times. People moshing and having a gay old time. Seems like the times have changed and it's turned into a big seek and destroy mission to boost one's ego, to make them feel manly, or whatever the fuck it is. EVERYONE is sick of it. The show goers. The bands. The venues. Sometime the line is going to have to be drawn. EDIT: Also Dalin, today was the first day I had ever said a word to you and you couldn't even give me the respect of shaking my hand and letting me introduce myself. I'm not sure what kind of problem you have with me, but I'm willing to help you out if you're confused about something. Just let me know.

im glad you are still there for me brah im there for ya too well dont get me wrong, all i was saying is that you didnt start anything. you definitely were involved. terry starts it by crowd killing, someone pushes him away (only because theyre not too keen on a fist to the face) he gets pissed, grabs someone, then you jump in, he backs out into a corner and lets you take the blame. thats what has happened almost every time this goes down. terry lets you take all the blame, and thats why i was defending you, because i want terry to take some heat too.

sitting on the side in the middle is next to it perry She was by the amps. I'm not saying that you hit her, or terry hit her, because I don't know, and I'm really not trying to put the blame on anyone, because I like everyone that goes to shows. You're all nice kids to me and my band, but when someone shoves you back into the pit, it really isn't to start a fight. All I want is everyone having fun, and for the dancers to be careful of the ladies. The reason chris snapped like that is because he watched his girlfriend get get hit repeatedly in the face. He can handle hits okay but when his girlfriend and her friends are repeatedly getting hit hard, it makes him mad. So bounce into the crowd, don't go swinging. The duck almost got shut down last night, and if you think about it, are there any other all ages venues, let alone ones that let you dance? It would be in everyone's best interest to keep it alive and thriving. Just because I'm talking about the show and incident badly doesn't mean I'm talking about any of you badly. I really, really enjoy everyone coming to our shows, I really enjoy the energy you guys bring, but make it fun for everyone else, just be aware. This isn't portland, and these aren't portland shows, regardless of their being "better", this is Eugene, and we like positive here. Keep it that way and not once will there ever be a problem.

i didnt do it. so leave me out of it. BIGGER PIT=MORE PEOPLE=BIG FUN! I never said you did. All I did was reply. Sounded pretty calm to me. The pit wasn't any bigger than it normally is. Even then, a bigger pit means that there needs to be more consideration for others around the dancers, and by that I mean watch the fists and just crowd bump(directed towards all dancers). I have seen the dancers do it before and there's never any problems caused by it. The duck just isn't big enough for a lot of dancers. Thats why we ask for courtesy.

No one has said that you have started the fight last night and people who saw what went down are correcting the ones who think you started it all. But the fact stands that it is always the same people fighting.
I am sad that its two less people who are able to be at the shows and enjoy themselves, but it is less fights.
