So since my last thread went to crap and I'm still left bandless, here's another stab in the dark.
at this point, I don't really care what kind of genre the music is we play. I could really care less. I just want to do something productive musically.
I can play drums. or do vocals (or vokills if you're metal and into that shit). or do expieriemental noise shit with whatever I can find. or we can fuck around with the computer and make music that way (fruity loops/reason/whatever) or play synth really shittily. or WHATEVER. I don't really care. Fuck, I have NO IDEA how to play guitar and I'd be down to try and make some shit with a guitar.
Like I said, I just want to start doing something productive.
I'm hoping to find one or two or five or ten or however many other people who have the same mind set as me. I'm looking for people who are serious. The music can be a complete joke and suck and/or not even be music, as long as everyone is serious/passionate about it and having fun is all that matters.
Also like I said, I could care less about genre at this point. I don't care what I'm doing in the project as long as I feel I can contribute my part equally...I am completely down for anything and everything.
I'm not THAT great at drums, but I don't suck completely. I can keep a beat and that's all that really matters. I don't care if you can't play any instruments as long as the passion and seriousness is there.
I love music, and I would really love to start contributing to the local (and non-local???) music scene with some creations of my own.
If you feel you're in the same boat and have something (ANYTHING) to bring to the table, then get ahold of me.
Don't respond if you're close minded, judgemental, lack passion for ALL music, don't have ideas to contribute, or you're just not serious. Also, I would like to be able to practice (get together/jam)a minimum of one day a week, so if you're not available or do not have proper transportation then don't inquire further. Playing a show here or there would be sweet once we have a solid idea of what we're doing, but of course that would be much further down the line.
Thanks.
