You can expect it to get rowdy at a Terror show. Regardless of the other bands. I have to work otherwise I'd go to catch Terror and Ghost Inside. Jeff rolled his ankle rowdy-like.

I don't really like core stuff too much anymore.

I love the shit out of it. It's hard to find deathmetal without core influence these days. I really don't mind it though. I'm a breakdown guy, even though I like technicality.

Maybe the "new" death metal. But real death metal doesn't have any... At least not to the same extent.

Yeah, but if you're using that mentality, you're stating that real deathmetal is dead. Like punk. It's deathmetal non the less, it's just evolved. If it always stayed the same, it would get boring. Eventually the newer stuff will change as well, and then people are going to talk about how they miss the current.

Real death metal is dead... except for a few underground bands it just seems like what ever the new trend is all the bands go for it like bree bree and Br00tality it gets just as bad as hair metal in the 80s, cookie cutter... maybe when a more old school oriented DM band emerges people will think its cool because not a lot of people listen to older bands...
kinda like wolfmother, like a blast from the past kinda thing
oh well one could always hope.

...you're stating that real deathmetal is dead. Not dead. But dying.

Bree bree cookie cutter stuff? I kinda remember you stating earlier in this thread that you loved deathcore, now you dissed it. Plus you were in a metalcore band. I can think of just as many bad examples of metalcore as I can deathcore, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I think everyone just hates the word core. I honestly think that it's the biggest problem people have with bands like that.
