FUCKIN A TO PHIL. On all counts. You basically kinda manned up and said all the shit, far more eloquently and much better put, that I was thinking last night reading all of this. The amount of disgust that welled up as I was reading the joking after the "tough" guy attitude and everybody was like "oh hey, lol, that's better." Sugarcoating shit still makes it shit. Period. Oh, and one more thing. I've said it before, seen it said a thousand times, and yet time and time again, the response is the same. "Man, we aren't gonna stop dancing, I hope that's not what you're trying to insinuate" or "we're still gonna dance, you can't stop us." K. Most of us have said it. We're all chill with the dancing. It's completely awesome that people get out there and do their own shit. It's the fights and the fights caused because of "dancing" that's really used as a way to instigate shit and cause harm. It's no different if, say, I were moshing and grabbed somebody and slammed their face into the ground. Sure, I could use the banner cloud of "moshing" but isn't the end result the fuckin same? Causing violence and harm to somebody. I know plenty of people who can dance, not purposefully strike people, and just have a good time doing their own shit. That's fuckin awesome. Dance, mosh, beat off, flail, wriggle on the floor, do the robot, handstands, I don't fuckin know. Do whatever floats your boat. Just don't do it with the purpose of fucking somebody's day up or trying to start shit. That's all anybody is against. Hopefully I'm not coming off as a dick, I'm just saying. If there is truly a dead horse issue anywhere, it's this one. +1 to you and phil alike -jordan redcorn. OH AND PAGE 4 OWNED! WHAT NOW COLUMBUS!! YOU CANNOT TAKE THIS FROM ME!!!!!

Just to let you guys know, I'm going to go to a Behemoth show in a white robe and shout "FIRE AND BRIMSTONE!!" whilst throwing metal stakes at people's chests. Because I fight for what I believe!
Ha, NOT.
Thanks to Dalin's heroic act of kneeing a guy in the face 3 times, I ended up getting blood on my jeans while trying to break the fight up. Thanks a lot, A-hole!
You should have seen the look on the poor guy's face when they finally pulled him out of the chaos. He had this innocent and confused look on his face, which, was COVERED in blood. I'm not kidding, you saw the floor. I felt so bad for the poor guy. Seriously, I'm not a violent person. And I've never been in a "real" fight before. But Dalin is the kind of person that I would actually want to injure. I'm not going to, but I'm just saying, it takes a lot to piss me off, and he does a great job of it. I hope I never have to see him again. Because I have lost all respect for him. In fact, he's in the negatives right now. Anyway, I'm glad this has been resolved, and that I don't have to worry about Dalin getting butt-hurt and trying to ruin yet another show.

Ok, so I'm sure there's not a whole lot i can say about this that hasn't been so yet, but i do think i need to put something in. First off, there's cause for a lot of frustration for these kids and their ignorance. "edge isn't the problem", "fight for what you believe", blah blah blah. i believe in edge, i admire it's standpoint for living the life given to you without the crutch of any kind of substance, but this isn't a cult, or a klan. this is a healthy choice for whatever reason, like veganism. i like hardcore dancers, i always dug the idea of people expression themselves to other peoples music in whatever way they found fit, with the one single exception: it wouldn't prevent, or hurt any other persons comfort to do the same. Chris and I have talked about this, quite a bit, and the final ruling has been made. Dalin, we like ya bud, what you think of us, or think we think of you is entirely up to you, but we don't agree with what poison you and your friends are bringin into the scene. take a look, from a third person point of view, if you hadn't be there, those kids would have all had a great time with one another, wouldn't they? I'll need more information on what happened at the show, but as for now one thing is for sure. Dalin, you're no longer welcome to anything me, chris, john, or phil put on. like chris said, we're open to sitting down and discussing this, but don't expect any kind of leniency on the matter. this is final. TO EVERYONE ELSE: if you have any information to the matter, message chris and i with names, and we'll take care of the rest. Remember what we're all working towards. this is it. there is something in it that is literally hurting our friends, our fellow comrades, so we'll need unity all the more. Frustration is expected, but the fact is the problem is pretty small. something like 5/200 problem rate. and with the exception of these few people, i think it's clear as day just how close and like minded we all really are.

hey man, sorry. i don't know why you're retaliating against me like this, Dalin. I've been nothing but nice to you, and even still, i still like you, but what you want for our shows is bad for them. bottom line. nothing you can do will make us let you in, nor any other person with malicious intent. The only way you'll be permitted back in is with the understanding and support of what we want to establish here, sealed with an apology and agreement to practice better methods for problem solving. What happened with Joe and I is between us. However, i did watch him be escorted right off the bat too, leaving me with question of his participation in the little tiff. anyways, Dalin, an entire scene of people have formed. you are not feared, and will NOT be permitted back into shows. Until you want to discuss this in person, like normal human beings, this stands. In the mean time, feel free to host your own shows with your favorite bands.

Boston Beatdown? Really the people to quote in this scenario? Crew vs. 1 mentality is not tough. I agree for the most part on no room for complaining about getting hit a little or somebody headwalking at a show. It happens at a hardcore show. I dance, I headwalk, I jump on pileups and circle pit. Standing on the edge of the pit you're gonna get run into or hit, it happens. And there are usually places to stand where you're in the clear. But it sounds like kids are targeting people and crowd killing. And that's childish bro-shit. It isn't standing up for straight edge, for some crew bullshit, for anything. It's not dancing for the band or to get frustrations out, it's playing macho man "I've been here x amount of years so I'm the shit" to people who you have some grudge against and who have probably been around longer than you. Hardcore's been around for 30 some years, no one can have a superiority complex even if you were at Minor Threat or MDC shows. TL;DR- If you're near the pit or front stage, don't complain about getting roughed. If you're targeting people or coming to shows to start shit or end shit, however you see it, don't come.
