It wasn't aimed at him, just 541ms in general. No not officially met. You work in the drums section in guitar center right?

To be honest, I never heard of any of the bands besides the two locals playing, and I didn't really care to research it any further because I'm a cheap S.O.B. I've seen of mountians a handful of times, and although I REALLY want to see Aeolus, I'm not going to pay $8 to only be interested in one band, when I can catch them at taboo for $3. It just shows, that without a big named headlining band, local kids aren't really interested in dropping $5, or $8. on shows with bands they're not aware of or maybe there wasn't enough promotion. who knows. I knew about this indigo show (from the myspace comments/bulletins), but I can't afford to drop $5 or $8 everytime a show is going on and I make well over minimum wage. I would love to see EVERY local show, regardless of who is playing. But in reality, I can't afford it. I don't think anyone can. Especially when I'm used to paying $3 at taboo. Why spend more on the milk, if you can get it cheaper somewhere else? or whatever that saying is. haha. $3 dollars every show adds up. $5 dollars every show adds up $8 is almost three $3 shows. so...unless some band I've been dying to see is playing I rarely shell out more than $5 a show. i'm making your post into a mastercard commercial. just think: gallon of gas to drive to the show...$3 pack of cigarettes to chain smoke at the door...$5 getting a bj from the crackhead behind the venue...$8 getting into a show for free...PRICELESS. (ha. that's a pun.) and for everything else, there's your weekly allowance for mowing the lawn.

I just paid the neighbor to do it because he came to my door asking if we needed it mowed. -$20.00 FTW. There was that guys bailout. and I don't even think he had his green card.

I didn't go... Because $8 is ridiculous. Because I have seen Aeolus and Of Mountains WAY too many times. And because I live two hours away.
For the record, Studio34 shows are almost always $8. And I'd love to see Aeolus more, and Of Mountains FINALLY.
I will eventually make it to a show. No matter what the cost... ... ... I think.

Hahaha. I've lived there 19 years, and I've never seen anything town-like. You didn't miss anything.
When Aeolus was down this weekend, Phil and I went to Rays, and we were standing in line so he could buy cigarettes, and a monkey popped out of a ladies purse. Phil was screaming like a little girl "Oh my GOD! There's a MONKEY!" I thought he was saying there was a monkey in the battery shelves, so I told him he was crazy, but then I saw it. He frightened the poor thing because he couldn't calm down about this monkey. I guess what I'm getting at, is that there are a FEW cool things in waldport. Like Monkeys. And The Secret played there. And slept in my house. Point for me.
